She had been born in the Soviet Union shortly after the Chernobyl disaster. The mutations in her body had left her without legs, but they had also given her hot blood that let her survive the coldest temperatures and caused her to grow at an accelerated rate.
Because she always used her arms to get around (she had never been able to afford a wheelchair, and found little use for one), she had the largest upper body in Soviet Union.
Ever since she was little, She wanted to be the first person without legs to climb Mount Everest. To her dismay some one beat her to it.
Undeterred, she decide that she would instead become the first person to climb Mount Everest without any equipment...
None at all.
