Overwatch was needed in the world, now more than ever. For their return, they needed new members and new equipment to help protect the world once more. Angela Ziegler, known to the world as Mercy, had been working on a new medical technique to help strengthen the body through wear and tear. With Overwatch being called back into action, she tasked herself with finding a proper ally to not only help the team, but also to help advance the study of medicine.
Enter Aleksandra Zaryanova, the world's strongest woman and soldier for the Russian army. Given her genetics and weightlifting, it made sense to recruit her both for the team and for Mercy's experiment. Zarya agreed to help in the hope of helping the world, much of Mercy's joy. With her help, the study continued and made great strides. The only thing left to do was to find a test subject. Not wanting to sacrifice anyone else for this, she tested the compound on herself.
It worked, though in ways neither woman was expecting. In a matter of days, Mercy began in grow in size. By week's end, she not only met the same size as Zarya, but surpassed it. The only problem now was to maintain such a body, which Zarya was more than happy to help with. Mercy appreciated the help as always, though wondered if there was more to them than just friendship...
