After an especially long and destructive rampage, Giganta was finally subdued and incarcerated at Ryker’s Island with the use of S.T.A.R. Labs’ latest invention: a collar developed for the sole purpose of restraining Giganta’s height changing powers.
However, it turns out there is an unexpected and unfortunate side effect from her continuous, year long exposure to the collar: it permanently mutates her ability so that instead of growing taller, she now grows exponentially stronger.
In the end, it seems Giganta is an even more dangerous threat than before!
